So, here's my first attempt at a "currently" post from Fun in Room 4B.
Currently listening to: Salsa Sally (my chihuahua) snore beside me. She's not too into blogging (or much of anything besides sleeping and eating for that matter...).
Currently loving: that I had a snow day yesterday!! Was so wonderful to hang out in PJ's all day and not have to worry about my university supervisor coming for her weekly visit. Narrow escape.
Currently thinking: about going to play/sled in the snow with my cousins. Haven't quite committed...
Currently wanting: more snow! Actually, I hate the snow -- I think it's gross and disgusting and lame. But, since it's already here, it'd be nice to have just a bit more...enough for a snow day on Monday :)
Currently needing: to decide what's for dinner. I'm starving.
Pet peeves: not being versed in "blog lingo". I'm getting there, folks.
Happy Saturday!
Emily

YAY on your new blog! I love the design - good job :) I am a student teacher in 1st grade this semester and it's nice to find other "almost teachers" out in blogging world. I found your blog through Farley and am your newest follower. No worries on the lingo, I've only been at it for a few weeks and I promise, it DOES get easier :)
ReplyDeleteAlso, congrats on your rolling chair. Superior score!

Hi Catherine!
DeleteThanks so much -- it took me quite a while to figure out how to get my layout looking snazzy. I think it will stay this way for a longggg time! Haha. Do you graduate in May also? Yours is the first student teacher blog I've come across too -- love it, will def be checking in on it frequently!

Congrats on your new blog! It is very cute, and I am your newest follower! It doesn't snow where I live, but I bet it is beautiful to look at.
ReplyDeleteKinda jealous that it doesn't snow where you live -- I love the snow days, but after I've enjoyed a nice day in PJ's, I end up hating the snow. So gross. It is pretty -- but only for a little while.

Hi Emily, I found you through Farley's "Currently" and am your newest follower! My undergraduate degree was in secondary English Ed. I was and am still am a Victorian lit nut! Your blog is adorable and I look forward to reading more. The last few years I have taught in a Christian elementary school, but now I am a stay-at-home to my boys and my baby mini-dachshund (who just chewed the cord to my external hard drive!) All the best to you and may God bless you! Lauren Teacher Mom of 3
